As teacher prepare for their students for guided inquiry, they need to remember they may be responsible for teaching students how to find and validate the information on the internet. Many schools are not teaching computer skills due to finances or the time cruch we all find ourselves facing. It is time well spent...definitely a 21st century skill. Courtesy of ASCD SmartBrief

Report: Digital natives may not be as tech-savvy as they think

About 60% of millennials -- those between ages 16 and 34 -- have "low" technology skills, despite spending about 35 hours each week on digital media, according to a recent survey by Change the Equation. The trend could hurt millennials' future earning power, data show. T.H.E. Journal (6/11)
