Should schools direct some library funds to technology?

In this blog post, educator Bill Ferriter writes that, with limited funds for library resources, it might be 
better to direct money to technology rather than purchasing nonfiction content on a limited number of topics. At issue, he writes, is that libraries offer limited content and hours when students can access the information.
