Fla. school district's social media efforts seen as "#amazing"
The Pasco County, Fla., school district has gotten high praise from Twitter executives, who have called its social media efforts "#amazing." In the district, which has embraced social media, administrators and others use Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and other sites to communicate with students and others. The approach is a departure from that adopted by some neighboring districts, including one which largely has avoided social media on the advice of its attorneys.
