Collaboration Through Technology

This blog post offered through ASCD SmartBrief is a an excellent example of opportunities available through technology.  Take a look and see if this is something you can incorporate into your project:)  Enjoy:)

Website offers ideas for STEM projects
A website called STEMtube is amassing a collection of student videos of projects and experiments in science, technology, engineering and math that could help students develop projects and expand on their ideas, according to technology-integration expert Katie Klinger. In this blog post, Klinger writes that students struggling to find a STEM topic that interests them can visit the site for inspiration. Edutopia.org/Dr. Katie Klinger blog

"It is my hope that STEMtube will become a valued repository of student-generated videos that visually connect interested students around the world to challenging topics that can be replicated and expanded (from service-based learning activities, to classroom projects, to ideas for science fairs)."  Dr. Katie Klinger
